Television: Problem connecting to the Netflix server

| Q. What can cause a failed connection to Netflix? |
|
| A. There are a few reasons why the TV could have trouble connecting to the Netflix servers. Issues may range from routers, servers, setup and Netflix server error. Below is a list of known Routers that may prevent proper connection to Netflix. |

| Netflix Hints: |
|
| - Netflix uses port 80 and 443 same as the standard internet connection. If movies are not populating on Netflix ready devices, reset routers, modems and Netflix ready device. If problem still occurs, check that port 443 is actually open. |
| - If an account is on hold, an error message may appear, Netflix will need to reset user's account before streaming video will take place. |
| - A fluctuation or change in speed of internet connection may cause streaming video to pause or skip. This pause or skip is to allow movie to catch up with internet connection speed. |

| Netflix activation issues: |
|
| - Netflix will not activate without an Activation code. If the television will not generate an activation code on your initial Netflix setup it may be necessary to contact LG customer service for further assistance. |
| - To activate Netflix and begin receiving streaming movies and video, a membership must be established. To become a member, please visit: www.netflix.com/activate. |
| - Any issues with data not being sent to TV from Netflix may be a Netflix Server Error. Please contact Netflix if there is a direct issue with Netflix's Server. NOTE: In rare instances it is possible that Netflix may be experiencing a temporary outage, simply wait a few hours and try to access netlfix again. In most cases this will resolve the issue. |
