Washing Machine: PF and other error codes

- The PF error code indicates a power failure. This might occur while machine is working due to an external disturbance like a storm or power outage in the area. If the PF error code is displayed, turn off the power to the washer, unplug it for 10 seconds, and restart the wash cycle. If the error code continues to present after these steps have been taken, then the washer may require service.

- The FE error code indicates that the unit is overfilling, usually due to a faulty water valve. First, check the water level. If it is too high, then close the water taps. A washer that is overfilling may require service. However, if the water it is at a normal or low level, then unplug the power cord, and wait 10 seconds, and restart the cycle.

|
|
- A PE error code is caused when a water level sensor has malfunctioned. Unplug the power cord, wait for 10 seconds, plug it back in, and restart the cycle. If the error code is displayed again after the reset, close the water tap, unplug the unit, and refer to service.

- The CE error code is indicative of an over current in the motor. Unplug the power cord, wait for 10 seconds, plug the washer back in, and restart the cycle. If same problem happens again, close the water tap, unplug the unit, and refer to service.

- The TE error code indicates a heating error, usually caused by a faulty thermistor. First, attempt to clear the error by unplugging the power cord, waiting for 10 seconds, restore the power, and restart the wash cycle. If the same problem happens again, close water tap, unplug the washer because the unit may require service.

|
- a DHE error code is caused by temporary dry heater error in combo models. An HE error code presents when a temporary heater error occurs. An SE is caused by a temporary sensor error. If any of these error codes are diplayed, turn off the power to the washer and unplug it.. After 10 seconds, plug it back in and attempt to restart the washing cycle. If the problem persist, the unit may require service.
