1. If ice is not used often accumulates, it can overfill and spillage occurs. The ice bin may periodically need to be emptied to prevent overfilling. Ice that has spilled over can keep feeler arm from shutting off. The icemaker will keep filling the bin until the feeler arm is pushed by ice to the stop position.
2. This model comes with an additional ice bin located in the upper drawer to prevent overfilling. If ice is not used, periodically empting ice bin may prevent ice from spilling into other areas of the freezer.
3. If the ice bin door is full and icemaker stops making ice, remove a full ice bin from the door and move ice to the second ice storage container found in the upper drawer of freezer.
