Adjust temperature to a slightly warmer setting
  • Check the vents in the freezer compartment. Anything in front of close to the air vents will be cooler because air coming out of the air vents is cooler that the set temperature. Temperature is for the warmest part of the unit. The temperature should be set at a standard -2° F to maintain proper cooling of freezer.
  • Make certain that the temperature in the freezer compartment is set properly. If there is not a lot of food in the compartment, the doors are not opened very often, or the ambient temperature is cool, then the unit does not need to be set as cold.
