Television: No Power
NOTE: Some new televisions include a main power switch located on the underside or back of the television's frame. If the main power switch is in the off position, no LED indicator light is present even if the television is plugged into an electrical outlet or surge protector.

Have you checked your outlet or surge protector?
Confirm the surge protector is plugged into a wall outlet. Also, the surge protector must be turned on or reset following a recent surge. A unit plugged directly into the wall, should be tested in another outlet. If the unit works, then the problem is the wall outlet. If the issue is the television, then service may be needed.
NOTE: If you live in an area with frequent electrical storms or power surges, use a good surge protector. Lightning strikes and power surges are not covered under the television’s warranty.

Was the television just purchased?
Make sure the unit is plugged into a surge protector or the wall. If the television will not respond to the remote control, try pressing the power button on the face of the television. Usually, on a television receiving power from the electrical outlet a “red” standby indicator will illuminate. Once the power is turned on, the LED will change to blue or green depending on the model.
